On August 13, a new book release ceremony for "Heart境" was successfully held in the auditorium on the 9th floor of Jiangsu Nanji Machinery Co., Ltd., celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Attendees included Ni Jiaming (former deputy secretary of the Taixing Municipal CPC Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress), Wang Jiwu (former deputy director of the Organization Department of the Taizhou Municipal CPC Committee), Bian Weiguo (deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Taixing Municipal CPC Committee and director of the Municipal Civilization Office), Ge Bin (secretary of the Taixing Municipal Bureau of Culture, Sports, Radio, Television, and Tourism), Yong Guodong (deputy director of the Taixing Municipal Talent Office), Mao Yong (director of the News Center of the Taixing Municipal Integrated Media Center), and relevant leaders from the Taixing Municipal Taxation Bureau, Market Supervision Bureau, Telecom Bureau, Education Bureau, Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Public Security Bureau. Also in attendance were friends from all walks of life, Du Wenyuan (chief editor of Hohai University Press), and all management personnel of Nanji Machinery.
The event used the true and vivid stories from Chairman Ni Zhizhong's new book, "Heart境," to illustrate the patriotic sentiments of loving one's country, company, and family. A person's growth journey, mirroring that of the Republic, served as a testament to the nation's progress and strength. The event included guest interviews, audience Q&A, a book unveiling, a signing session, and artistic performances such as "The Glorious Spirit of Model Workers," a recitation of "Patriotic Feelings," and a saxophone performance of "Me and My Motherland."
General Manager Ni Jianfeng said in his speech: "In the process of entrepreneurship, Chairman Ni Zhizhong faced countless difficulties and dangers without giving up easily, but instead became more courageous in the face of setbacks. He created a happy enterprise, achieving the resonance of culture and development, and the shared happiness with employees, establishing the Nanji happy culture system. He formulated the principles of 'pursuing profit, but not only for profit; daring to compete, but not harming others; equivalent exchange, but not being too calculating,' giving the company an iron-like business principle and business soul. This is the eternal spiritual wealth of Nanji Machinery." He summarized Chairman Ni Zhizhong's impression in his mind as "a great father, an excellent Communist Party member, a successful entrepreneur, and a responsible person of the same age as the Republic."
During the guest interview segment, all participants shared their thoughts freely. They noted that Chairman Ni Zhizhong's work, "Heart境," uses a chronological approach, employing simple language and moving stories to depict the journey of a child from a poor rural background who, through the Party's support, became a successful private entrepreneur. Focusing on four entrepreneurial ventures, the book reflects his lifelong dedication to employee well-being and company growth. His actions answer the question of who he is, who he serves, and whom he repays. His initial intent, perseverance, craftsmanship, integrity, love, filial piety, and his feelings for his career, employees, family, hometown, children, and spouse are elevated to a noble "Heart境," reflecting his inner world and family values.
Du Wenyuan, chief editor of Hohai University Press and editor in charge of "Heart境," considers it a remarkable book with significant educational value and high literary and artistic merit. He notes that "Heart境" is relatable and easy to understand, avoiding exaggeration or embellishment, drawing from real work and life experiences within the company. It interweaves local customs and human feelings while reflecting the spirit of the times.
In the audience Q&A session, guests interacted with questions about the chairman's original intention of doing public welfare and Nanji Machinery's future plans for creating a happy enterprise, and Chairman Ni Zhizhong enthusiastically answered them one by one. The atmosphere was enthusiastic during the new book unveiling ceremony. It allowed all participants to deeply feel the inheritance and carrying forward of a spirit and strength.
The book signing took place during the passionate recitation of the poem "Patriotic Feelings." Chairman Ni Zhizhong readily signed and presented books to everyone. Among them were guests, relatives, employees, and fans who came to admire him. The guests and friends who received the books took photos with Chairman Ni Zhizhong to commemorate the occasion.
