Technological innovation has always been a top priority for the company. The company currently has more than 120 technical personnel, including more than 80 with senior and intermediate professional titles, and more than 100 technicians and senior workers. It has established extensive cooperative relationships with more than 20 scientific research institutes and universities, including the 701st, 704th, 708th, 711th, and 719th Institutes, the Shanghai Ship Design Institute, Zhejiang University, the First Institute of Oceanography, Tongji University, and Shanghai Ocean University. Annual R&D investment accounts for about 5% of the company's sales revenue, reaching 8-10% in special years. It has successively developed large-scale surface warship self-aligning high-pressure intermediate shaft bearings, membrane-type sewage treatment devices and oily wastewater treatment devices that meet the latest standards. We also have a technologically advanced ship ballast water management system testing center, with a simulated ship ballast tank detection system ranging from 50 to 4000 m³, as well as a fully functional and technologically advanced ship sewage treatment testing center, warship power system intermediate shaft bearing testing center, and vibration and noise reduction testing center. These high-precision and advanced equipment and facilities have laid a solid foundation for the manufacturing of Nanji's high-quality products! Major products have obtained certifications from various domestic and foreign classification societies, and products such as ship sewage treatment devices have also obtained USCG certificates from the US Coast Guard and EC certificates from the European Union. Our company has been recognized as a Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Technology Center, Jiangsu Provincial Ship Sewage Batch Membrane Treatment Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center, with 2 national key new products, 8 provincial high-tech products, 2 provincial scientific and technological achievement transformation projects, and 1 Jiangsu Provincial first-of-its-kind major project. The Ni-type ship ballast water management system won the only gold award in the national marine engineering equipment and high-tech shipbuilding field at the first China Military-Civil Integration Technology Innovation and Application Competition organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence in 2016.
