Comprehensive Ability Improvement Assessment Meeting Successfully Held

2017 Year 12 Month 3 Day, Antarctic Machinery held a comprehensive ability improvement assessment meeting for the scientific and technological personnel of the third research institute in the first meeting room of the administrative building 6 The meeting was attended by Chairman Ni Zhizhong, General Manager Ni Jianfeng, Vice President Wang Jianhai (who presided over the meeting), members of the activity leadership group, and all personnel of the research institute.
At the beginning of the meeting, Director Lu Yusheng of the research institute first read out the "Scheme for Comprehensive Ability Improvement Assessment of Personnel in the Third Research Institute" and the "Detailed Rules for Comprehensive Ability Improvement Assessment of Personnel in the Third Research Institute".

General Manager Ni Jianfeng made specific requirements for the meeting. He stated that holding this meeting is an important measure to improve the comprehensive abilities of the company's scientific and technological personnel, and it is also a preliminary assessment of everyone's professional skills, language expression ability, communication ability, adaptability, and professional ethics. He hoped that everyone would take this meeting as an opportunity to put pressure on themselves, actively learn, change from "being required to learn" to "wanting to learn," and continuously improve their comprehensive abilities. Today's assessment is just a pilot program. In the next stage, the research institute will achieve full coverage of the assessment of all scientific and technological personnel. After that, the company will combine the actual situation of various departments and front-line workshops in the administrative line to select appropriate assessment methods to conduct comprehensive ability assessments of personnel in various departments and workshops.

Next, the meeting entered the roadshow session. Eight scientific and technological personnel, Huang Xiang, Ju Xincai, Huang Hongmei, Zhou Kai, Huang Guowei, Zhang Xiang, Kuang Ziyang, and Ke Chenxing, gave presentations in the order determined by lottery. They combined their independently produced PPT to showcase and report from multiple aspects, including their understanding of the Ballast Water Convention, the processing process and principle introduction, system composition, communication skills, professional ethics, and work insights. After all the presentations, they answered questions from the assessment leadership group. During the roadshow, the eight technical backbones talked freely, combining their own work, and detailed their discussions, presenting some new ideas, new thinking, and new plans. Finally, designer Huang Hongmei won first place in the event with her careful preparation and outstanding on-site performance, while Zhou Kai and Kuang Ziyang won second and third place, respectively.

Finally, Chairman Ni Zhizhong gave an important instruction. He pointed out that under the current complex and severe market environment of the shipbuilding industry, if enterprises want to survive and develop, they must innovate and strengthen internal management and continuously improve the comprehensive quality of their employees. Today's roadshow was a very beneficial activity that achieved its expected results. He emphasized that he hoped that everyone would do the following two things in their future work: First, consciously practice the "Employee Code of Conduct," abide by behavioral norms, and let every detail of their actions reflect the civilized image of Antarctic employees; second, develop good learning habits, actively learn, love learning, and study seriously, providing stronger support for performing their job functions, contributing to the development of the enterprise, and realizing the Antarctic dream.
